The Bank of England has left interest rates on hold at 0.5%

The move follows a slowdown in economic growth at the start of the year and indicates the bank doesn’t think the economy is yet strong enough to handle higher interest rates, The Guardian reports. Back in November, the bank raised rates from 0.25% to 0.5% – the first increase for a decade.
